NFT artists and brands have been gaining momentum over the past months. With some artists making $400k+/mo it’s no wonder everybody wants apart of the pie. Did you ever wonder how these NFT collections are made? Well, you are in luck. Today I’m going to explain how artists use NFT Generator software to build out and sell their NFT collections.
If you are a brand or an artist, trust me when I say: YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS OUT ON THIS! This industry is still in its infancy, but we are already starting to see major brands such as Monster Energy filing NFT trade-mark applications.
Generate a randomized NFT Collection
By using this nft generator, you may create a randomized NFT collection in just under a half hour. However, it’s not as simple as it may seem. First, you must have some art in which you would like to form in to a nft collection. Thus, if you are not an artist, you will have to find an artist. Artists can be found on many freelance websites such as Upwork, Freelancer, and even Fiverr.
To generate a randomized nft collection with the nft generator, your artwork must be “stackable”. Stackable means the artwork needs to be exported with a transparent background, lined up to the position in which it belongs. WHAT? Yeah, I was lost, too. However, let me explain:
Say you have a character. Your NFT collection is going to be based around this character. Therefore, you have hats, eyes, lips, blush, hair, clothing, glasses, etc. Your job is to ensure that all of these traits line up to the position in which they belong on the character. If you have sunglasses, they need to be in the position in which would be over your characters eyes. The easiest way to do so: line up the sunglasses to the character, and then make the character transparent. After which, export your sunglasses as a PNG.
Using the NFT Generator
Using the NFT generator to generate a nft collection is pretty straight forward.
The DApp provides a grossly simple user interface, and a youtube video in case you need tips using the nft generator. The basics are pretty straight forward. Create your layers (traits), upload your artwork to each layer, configure your project (name, description, website URL if you have one). Then, onto configuring your trait rarities. Trait rarities means how often a specific trait will be generated in the NFT collection.
If you were to have a really unique pair of sunglasses for example, you could set the rarity to, say, 5%. This means, that the NFTs in your collection only have a 5% chance to end up with those fantastic sunglasses. Why? Because it increases the value of that particular NFT, which drives people to your NFT sale.

How to Generate a NFT Collection with an NFT Generator
Once you have generated your NFT collection, you will need to then host a “mint sale”, also known as “lazy minting”. Lazy minting is the process in which users mint the NFT directly off of the artists or brands website. This occurs prior to the NFTs being posted for sale on secondary marketplaces, such as OpenSea. Luckily, the same website also offers an nft minter as well as hosted pages for those who do not even have their own website. It’s pretty much the one-stop-shop for building out and selling your NFT collection.
Using the NFT Minter
This step is a little more complex than the last, but, being that they made it for us average plebs, it’s not that hard to follow. The process consists of five steps to setup your smart contract on whichever network you choose (Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain). Once you have deployed your smart contract, you have access to manage and interact with your smart contract. You may then open or close your sale, manage your presale, whitelist addresses, airdrop free NFTs to a list of addresses, and even set a pre-reveal image.
A pre-reveal image is an image that appears across all NFTs in your NFT collection until you decide to reveal the actual NFT. Users mint their NFT from your website, and see a default photo. Perhaps a mysterious picture with a question mark, or a part of your character missing its face. The opportunities are endless. This builds up some hype in anticipation of what the user really holds, and your community will explode over it.
Once you have launched your mint, you have the ability to embed a mint button on your pre-existing website, or create a website right through the platform. I would highly encourage you to read their article on using the nft minter.
Profit!
Now that you have completed the steps above, we expect that you are well beyond the half-a-million per month revenue stage. Being that that’s the case, remember me. Remember how I told you to become a bajillionaire. Please and thank you <3
